Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work environment variables on job satisfaction, the influence of emotional intelligence variables on job satisfaction, the influence of organizational culture variables on job satisfaction, the effect of work motivation variables on job satisfaction the influence of work environment variables, emotional intelligence, organizational culture and work motivation on job satisfaction, work environment, emotional intelligence, organizational culture and work motivation simultaneously influence job satisfaction.


The population of leather craftsmen in the leather industry center in Manding Yogyakarta with 155, the samples taken using Slovin formula were 31 respondents. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. Data was collected by a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression.


The work environment has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction with a significant level of 0.043 <0.05, emotional intelligence has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction with a significant level of 0.008 <0.05, organizational culture has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction with a significant level of 0.040 <0.05 , Work motivation has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction with a significant level of 0.025 <0.05. Variables of work environment, emotional intelligence, organizational culture and work motivation have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction with a value of F 22,732 with a significant 0,000 because the significance value is <0.05.
